GIVEN:

Factorise the expression a³ – 3a²b+ - 3ab² +26³

TO FIND :

The factors of the given expression by using factorisation method.

SOLUTION :

Given expression is a³ - 3a²b + 3ab² +2b³

Now factorise the given expression a³ - 3a²b +3ab² +26³

That is solving the expression a³ − 3a²b + - 3ab² +263 as below:

a³ - 3a²b+3ab² +26³

Rewritting the above expression for our convenient to solve it we get,

= a³ = 3a²b + 3ab² +36³ − 6³

= (a³ − 3a²b+3ab² − 6³) + 36³By using the algebraic identity :

(a − b)³ = a³ — 3a²b + 3ab² − 6³

= (a − b)³ +36³ = -

••• a³ − 3a²b+3ab² +26³ = (a − b)³ +36³

... the given expression a³ – 3a²b+ 3ab² +26³ is factorised into (a -

6)³ +36³
