Answer:4.The bus conductor was the jolly and light hearted kind of person. He gave her hand to Valli being a kid to climb on the bus. He was amused to see the behaviour of a kid and treated Valli with respect and called her 'madam'. He also thought that she might be hungry and offered her the cold drink.

3.The conductor  surprised to see Valli's behaviour. An elderly man warned him for standing in the bus and asked to sit. Another woman driveled Valli for going to the town and asked her about the name of her going place, street and the house number. And the conductor behaved with her as a friend and made some fun of her and finally at the time of leaving he welcomed her for again on a ride of bus to town again.
