The effects of rumours are highly negative and can obliterate the reputation of someone to an extent that he or she take his or her own life. A rumor can be fake or genuine, but it seldom causes good. It can sometimes be observed as a decisive speech. Rumours, even if they are innocent, should be absolutely avoided as they can cause unforseen consequences.
