Answer:

The simple interest on a sum of money for 6 year 6 at 5% per annum is 7160 more than the simple interest on the same sum at 7% per annum for 2 years. Find the invested sum.

Solution :

Formula used:-

 \frac{p1 \times r1 \times t1}{100}  =  \frac{p2 \times r2 \times t2}{100}

[ Putting the numbers in Formula ]

= P × 5 × 6 / 100 - P × 7 × 2 / 100 = 160

= 30 P - 14 P = 160 × 100

= 16 P = 16000

= P = 1000

Hence the invested money is = ₹ 1000
