and total marks of Exam = 100T
Rahul has 12% more marks than he needs to pa ss
= M + ( 12/100)100T
= M + 12T
Ajay has 4% more marks. than he needs to pa ss
= M + (4/100)100T
= M + 4T
Rahul has 32 marks more than Ajay,
⇒ M + 12T = M + 4T + 32
⇒ 8T = 32
⇒ T = 4
⇒ 100T = 400
total marks of Exam = 400
