.

Convert total weight to g:

Total Weight = 10 kg = 10 000g

.

Convert the weight of onion and tomatoes to grams:

Weight of onions = 3 kg 500g = 3500g

Weight of tomatoes = 2 kg 75 g = 2075g

.

Find the weight of potatoes:

10 000 - 3500 - 2075 = 4425g

4425g = 4kg 425g

.

Answer: The potatoes weigh 4 kg 425g.

total weight of vegetables= 10 kg
weight of onions= 3.5 kg
weight of tomatoes=2.75 kg.
weight of potatoes =??

total weight-(weight of onions+that of tomatoes) = weight of potatoes

10-(3.5+2.75)
=10-6.25
=3.75

so the weight of potatoes is 3.75kg
