Given:-

total weight of vegetables = 3kg

weight of onions = 500g

weight of tomato = 2kg

To find the weight of potato ,first we have find the total weight of onions and tomatoes and then subtract that from total weight of vegetables.

Now,

total weight of onions and tomatoes both = 500g + 2kg

= 500g + 2000g

= 2500g

= 2kg 500g

Then ,

weight of potato = 3kg - 2kg 500g

= 3000g - 2500g

= 500g

Therefore, weight of potato is 500g
