Answer:

16 2/3%

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost price of plot = 96000

As we know that if we wants 10% profit on this plot we have to to sell it for => 110/100×96000

=> 105600 RS

according to statement 2/5 of plot (i.e 96000) solded at 6 % loss

means = 96000×2/5×94/100

=> 19200×2×94/100

=> 36096

if we sold out 2/5 of plot at RS 36096 and we wants 10% profit then

=> 105600-36096

=> 69540

this is the selling price for remaining part of plot say 3/5

=> if 59904 become 69540

means we get => 69540-59904 = 9636

=> 9636×100/59904 = 16 2/3

Step-by-step explanation:

C.P of the total land => Rs 96000

C.P of ⅖ th part of the land:-

=> 96000 × 2/5

=> 19200 × 2

=> 38400

S.P on loss 6% :-

=> C.P × 100 - loss

=> 38400 × 100 - 6/100

=> 384 × 100 - 6

=> 384 × 94

=> 36096

For gaining 10% on whole:-

=> S.P = C.P + 10% of C.P

=> S.P = 96000 + 10 × 96000/100

=> S.P = 96000 + 10 × 960

=> S.P = 96000 + 9600

=> S.P = Rs 105600

:-S.P of ⅖ th part of the land=> Rs 36096

:-S.P of ⅗ th part of the land should be Rs

=> 105600 - 36096

=> Rs 69504

:- C.P of ⅗ th part of the land

=> 96000 × 3/5

=> 19200 × 3

=>Rs 57600

:-Gain of the total land:-

=> S.P - C.P

=> 69504 - 57600

=> Rs 11905

:- Gain% of the total land:-

=> 11904 × 100/57600

=> 11904/576

=> 5952/288

=>2976/144

=>1488/72

=>744/36

=>372/18

=>186/9

=>62/3
