Answer:

ஃ Aaron's speed = 18 km/hr

Explanation:

The distance Aaron ran in 100 seconds = 500 m

( Unitary Method )

The distance Aaron ran in each second = 500 m ÷ 100 sec = 5 m

60 sec = 1 min

The distance Aaron ran in each minute = 5 m × 60 sec = 300 m

60 min = 1 hr

Distance which Aaron ran in each hour = 300 m × 60 min = 18,000 m

1,000 m = 1 km

 \sf 18,000 = \frac{18,000}{1,000} = \frac{18}{1} = 18 \:km

In this answer, we learnt:

• Unitary method

• i) 60 sec = 1 min

ii) 60 min = 1 hr

iii) 1,000 m = 1 km
