           Bindra received twice as many marbles as Aarti

           Chandan received 10 marbles more than Aarti

To find: Number of marbles each child received

Let: Number of marbles with Aarti, Bindra and Chandan be $x, y$ and $z$ respectively.

Solution: According to the given question and assumption made,

Aarti, Bindra and Chandan together have 110 marbles

i.e., $x + y + z = 110$   ...(1)

also, Bindra has twice as many marbles as Aarti

i.e., $y = 2x$   ...(2)

and, Chandan has 10 marbles more than Aarti

i.e., $z = x + 10$   ...(3)

Putting values of $y$ and $z$ from equations (2) and (3) in equation (1)

⇒ $x + (2x) + (x + 10) = 110$

⇒ $x + 2x + x = 110 - 10$

⇒ $4x = 100$

⇒ $x = \frac{100}{4} = 25$

Putting $x = 25$ in equation (2) and (3)

⇒ $y = 2 * 25 = 50$

and

$z = 25 + 10 = 35$

Hence, Aarti received 25 marbles, Bindra received 50 marbles and Chandan received 35 marbles.
