let the no. of 5 rupee notes be 7x and that of 10 rupee be 5x.
amount of 5 rupee notes =7x×5=35x
and that of 10 rupees=5x×10=50x
35x+50x=850
85x=850
x=10
no. of 5 rupee notes is 70 notes and 10 rupee is 50 notes.
