Aaryansh read in a book that sound waves produced by insects lie in the
infrasonic range, but he is able to hear the sound produced by the mosquitoes.
He got very confused by the statements. Write the reasons to clear the
confusion.

We are not able to hear the sound waves of insect but of mosquito because

1) Insect sound lies in infrasonic range or below 20 Hz and cannot be heard by humans

2) Mosquito produces sound above 20 Hz which is audible by humans as it lies in sonic range.
