In a ∆,

sum of two sides > third side.

Here, AB = 5
BC = 4
AC = 6

So, in a ∆,

AB + BC > AC

=> 5 + 4 > 6

=> 9 > 6

AB + AC > BC

=> 5 + 6 > 4

=> 11 > 4

AC + BC > AB

=> 6 + 4 > 5

=> 10 > 5

All conditions are applicable here. Also, in a ∆, difference of two sides < third side

=> AB - BC < AC

=> 5 - 4 < 6

=> 1 < 6

AC - AB < BC

=> 6 - 5 < 4

=> 1 < 4

AC - BC < AB

=> 6 - 4 < 5

=> 2 < 5

All conditions are applicable, hence the triangle is possible.
