The answer is 95°

GIVEN

AB = AD

BC = CD

TO FIND

The angle ∠ABC

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

It is given that,

AB = AD

And,

BC = CD

This means that,

∠ADC = ∠ABC (Equal sides have equal angles)

Also,

∠DAC + ∠ADC + ∠ ABC + ∠ CBA = 360°

Sum of interior angles of a quadrilateral is 360°

Putting the values we get,

54 + 116 + ∠ADC + ∠CBA = 360

Since

∠ADC = ∠ABC

Therefore,

170 + 2∠ABC = 360

2∠ABC = 360-170 = 190

2∠ABC = 190

∠ABC = 190/2 = 95°

Hence, The answer is 95°
