Explanation:

Given that AB and CD are intersecting lines.

OD is bisector of ∠ BOY

Form figure ∠AOC = 3x°

and ∠AOY = 90°

Since AB and CD are intersecting line with point of intersection as O

⇒ ∠DOB and ∠AOC forms a pair of vertical angles.

⇒ ∠DOB = ∠AOC = 3x°     [ Vertical angles are equal ]

⇒ ∠DOB = 3x°

As it is given that CD is a line

⇒ ∠ COD is straight angle and  ∠ COD = 180°

Also as OD is bisectors ⇒ ∠DOB = ∠DOY = 3x°    [ since ∠DOB = 3x° ]

from figure ∠COD = ∠DOY +∠YOA+ ∠AOC

⇒180° = 3x° + 90° + 3x°

⇒180° - 90° = 6x°

⇒90° = 6x°

⇒ x= 90/6 = 15

Hence value of x is 15.
