Answer:

Required angle = 50°

Note:

★ Complementary angles : Two angles are said to be complementary if their sum is 90°.

★ Supplementary angles : Two angles are said to be supplementary if their sum is 180°.

Solution:

Let the required angle be x .

Then its complement will be (90° - x) .

According to the question ;

The required angle is 30° more than half of its complement .

Thus,

=> x = (90° - x)/2 + 30°

=> x = 90°/2 - x/2 + 30°

=> x = 45° - x/2 + 30°

=> x + x/2 = 45° + 30°

=> (2x + x)/2 = 75°

=> 3x/2 = 75°

=> x = 75°•(2/3)

=> x = 25°•2

=> x = 50°

Hence,

The required angle is 50° .
