Correct Question:

  • AB || CD and t is a transversal which intersects AB and CD at E and F, respectively. if ∠2:∠1=5:4, find the measure of each marked angles.

Solution:

  • AB || CD and t is a transversal. Also
  • Angle 2:Angle 1= 5:4
  • 5x+ 4x = 180(Linear pair)
  • x=20 so, Angle 1 =70°
  • Angle 1 = Angle 4(Vertically opposite angle)
  • Angle 4 =70°
  • Angle1 +Angle 3= 180°(Linear Pair)
  • Angle 3 +70=180°
  • Angle 3 =180-70
  • Angle 3 =110°
  • Also ,we have,
  • Angle 2 =Angle 3(V.O.A)
  • Angle 2 =110° Now we Have,
  • By corresponding Angles =>Angle 1=Angle 5 => Angle 2 =Angle 8=>Angle 3= Angle 6=>Angle 4= Angle 7.
  • Therefore, We get
  • => Angle 5=70°
  • => Angle 6=110°
  • =>Angle 7= 70°
  • =>Angle 8=110°
  • Hence, All Angles are identified.

Thanks!..
