As given in the question, we have;

The length of the edge of the cubic lattice  = a = 387 pm

∴ The distance between two oppositely charged ions in the lattice is equal to;

(r^++r^-) = \frac{a\sqrt{3}}{2} = \frac{387 * \sqrt{3}}{2} = 333.15 pm

Ans) The distance between two oppositely charged ions in the body centered cubic lattice is 333.15 pm
