AB is a chord of a circle with center O. If angle AOB = 90° and AB=3√2cm then the diameter of the circle is= (a) 3cm (b) 3√2/2 cm (c) 1.5 cm (d) 6cm

here is your answer

let the radius of the circle be x

by phythagoras theorem,

x²+x²=(3√2)²

2x²=18

x²=18/2

x=±3

but x≠-3

hence the radius of the circle is 3 cm
