According to question

Length of Chord    ab = 16 Cm
Length of tangent    bp = 24  Cm
and        op = 26 Cm

Thus
In the figure
if we draw a perpendicular from o on tangent bp to point y

we can say that

by = yp
Thus
yp = bp / 2
      = 24/2
       = 12 Cm
Thus in triangle oyp
op^2 = oy^2 + yp^2
Thus
oy^2 = 26^2 - 12^2
     oy    = 23 Cm

rudra80: pls explain y
rudra80: point
BrainlyUser007: which point
rudra80: y point
rudra80: _|_ to
rudra80: we need to find o to ab distance
