2y - 30+2y=3y+10

4y-3y=40

y=40 ⇒eqn 2

angle 6 =3y+10

substituting y=40 frm eqn 2

angle6= 3*40+10

=120+10

therefore, angle6=130

angle 6+angle 5=180

therefore, angle 5 = 180-130=50
