AB is parallel to DE. If ∠ABC=.75° and ∠CDE=.145°, find ∠BCD.​

Angle C = 40°

draw a line || to AB and DE through C.

it is XY intersecting with C.

.: Angle ABC + BCX = 180° ( co-interior angle)

75° + angle BCX = 180°

.: angle BCX = 105° -----------------(1)

Now,

angle EDC + DCY = 180° (co-interior )

.: 145° + angle DCY = 180°

angle DCY = 135°---------------------(2)

add both eq (1) & (2)

Angle BCX + DCY + BCD = 180° (Straight line)

105 + 35 + C = 180

C = 180 - 140

.: C = 40°
