AB is the diameter of a circle. AH and BK are perpendiculars from A and B resptvly to the tangent at P. prove that AH + BK = AB.

BK is a tangent at B
AH is a tangent at A (perpndicular)
AH=HP---1
BK=KP---2 (Tangents from an external point are equal)
HP+KP=AB(AHKB is a rectangle)
So using 1 and 2, AH+BK = AB
