AC=6cm

AB Square =BC square + AC square, because angle ACB=90

Answer:

6 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN: ACB is the angle on the semicircle

<ACB= 90

In ΔACB AB^{2} =AC^{2} +BC^{2}

              AC= \sqrt{AB^{2}  -BC^{2}

                    =√8^{2}-(2\sqrt{7})^{2}

                     =√36

                    = 6
