Abahi and beni are two brothers. 1/3 of abni’s age added to beni’s age would total 10 and Abahi’s age together with half beni’s age total 10. Find their ages.

N beni's age be y
so as per the statements,
(1/3)x + y = 10..... equation (1),
x + (1/2)y = 10..... equation (2).
On solving equation (1) & (2) by substution or 2312 method;
we get, x (abahi's age) = 6 yrs,
and y (beni's age) = 8yrs.
