These two Triangles will be similar because all equilateral Triangles are similar Four similar triangles the ratio of area of the triangle is equal to the ratio of the square of the sides  the side of the smaller equilateral triangle is half of the larger one So ratio of area of larger equilateral triangle to the smaller equal lateral triangle equal to 4 ratio 1 Area larger /area smaller =4:1
