ABC and PQR are two equilateral triangle. if the ratio of their height AD and PS is 3:8 then find the ratio of area of triangle ABC and triangle PQR. ​

since two equilateral ∆'s are always similar and the rato of the areas of two similar tringles is equal to the ratio of their corresponding sides

so,ar(∆ABC)/ar(∆PQR)=AD^2/PS^2=

=(3/8)^2

=9/64
