Abc are partner sharing in the ratio 3:2:1 they admitted d as a new partner for 1/8 th share in the profit which he acquired 1/16th from b and 1/16 from c calculate new profit sharing ratio

By applying the formula,

New share = Old share - Sacrificing share

B's New share

=Old share - Sacrifice

=2/6 - 1/16

=13/48

C's New share

=Old share - Sacrifice

=1/6 - 1/16

=5/48

A's share remains the same i.e. 1/2 or 24/48(common multiple)

D's share will be 1/8 or 6/48

Hence new share is

24:13:5:6
