By applying the formula,
New share = Old share - Sacrificing share
B's New share
=Old share - Sacrifice
=2/6 - 1/16
=13/48
C's New share
=Old share - Sacrifice
=1/6 - 1/16
=5/48
A's share remains the same i.e. 1/2 or 24/48(common multiple)
D's share will be 1/8 or 6/48
Hence new share is
24:13:5:6
