Similiarity means looking should be similar
A similar triangles should have the equal angles and the length of sides should be in ratio
But as you know for a congruent one side must be equal.
So so two similar triangles may not be
congruent but it is definitely possible that two congruent Triangles will always similar.

They both can be congruent by these types of criterior=
1) SSS - When all three sides are equal
2) SAS- When two sides and one angle is equal
3)ASA- When two angles and one side is equal
4)AAA- When all three angles are equal
5)RHS- This criterior is basically used for Right Angled Triangle.
At last there corresponding parts are also become equal and known as CPCT( Corresponding Parts of a Congruent Triangle).
