area of parallelogram = 168 cm square
we know that
area = base 1× altitude 1
here base 1 = 16 cm and area = 168
so altitude 1 = area / base 1 = 168/16 = 10.5 cm
therefore altitude 1 is 10.5 cm
2nd case -
area = base 2 × altitude 2
here base 2 = 14cm and area = 168 cm square
so altitude 2 = area / base 2 = 168/ 14 = 12 cm.
