ABC is a right-angled triangle and O is the mid-point of the side opposite to the right angle. Explain
why O is equidistant from A, B and C.

The side opposite to right angle is the hypotenuse.

Reasons are as follows

  1. O is midpoint thus AO=OC
  2. Now the point will the circumcentre thus it would the radius of the circumcircle

that's why AO=OB=OC
