Triangle ABC is in the circle,

angle ABC = 90*,

side AB = 8cm,

side BC = 26cm,

AC is the hypotenuse of triangle ABC,

and also AC is the diameter of circle.

in triangle ABC,

by pythagoras theorem,

AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2,

AC^2 = (8)^2 + (26)^2,

AC^2 = 64 + 676,

AC^2 = 740,

AC = √740,

AC = 2√185.
