Answer:

By using Pythagoras theorem

Hypotenuse= Side opposite to right angle of right angled triangle, also defined as largest side of the triangle

Equals to sum of squares of other 2 sides,that is base and perpendicular.

Hypotenuse²=base²+altitude²

AC²=BC²+AB²

AC²=10²+24²

AC²=100+576

AC²=676

AC=√676

AC=26 cm

hope it helps

Answer:

Given:-

AB=25cm

BC=10cm

A/Q

 =  >  {ab}^{2}  +   {bc}^{2}  = {ac}^{2}   \\  =  >  {25}^{2}  +  {10}^{2}  =  {ac}^{2}  \\  =  > 625 + 100 =  {ac}^{2}  \\  =  >   \sqrt{725}  =  ac \\  =  > 27 = ac
