sec a=hypotenuse/base

cot a=base/perpendicular

ac equals to hypotenuse

bc equals to base

ab equals to perpendicular

(ac)^2=(bc)^2+(ab)^2

(17)^2=(8)^2+(ab)^2

289-64=225=(ab)^2

ab=15cm

then,15sec a=15×17/8=255/8=31.875.........{1}

and,8cot a=8×8/15=64/15=4.266...............{2}

combining both equation first and second we get,

31.875+4.266=36.141
