ABC is a right triangle with AB=BC. Bisect or of Angle A meets BC at D.Prove that BC=2AD

ABC is a triangle in which AB=AC hence it is an isoceles triangle. Angle bisector means cutting it into two equal parts that means angleBAD = angle CAD.

D is mid point of BC.

BD+CD = BC

AD = BD = CD so

AD + AD = BC

2AD = BC

Hence proved
