ABC is a Trapezium with AB parallel to DC. M is the midpoint of BC.prove that ar(AMD)=1/2ar(ABCD)

Answer:

The Triangle AMDand Trapezium ABCDare on the same base AD and between same parallel AD and BC

So,

area ( triangle AMD ) = 1/2 area ( trapezium ABCD)
