ABC is a triangle in which AB = AC = 4 cm
and ZA = 90°. Calculate :
(i) the area of A ABC,
(ii) the length of perpendicular from A to BC.

please answer faast........it's urgent...........​

(i.) Area of the triangle is given by

A =  \frac{1}{2}  \times ab \times ac

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 4 \times 4

 = 8 \:  {cm}^{2}

(ii.) Again area of the triangle

A =  \frac{1}{2}  \times bc \times height

8 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times   \sqrt{4 {}^{2}  + 4 {}^{2} }  \times height

height = 2.83 \: cm
