Step-by-step explanation:

BC =[(13)^2 - (5)^2] = 12 cm

here is two methods to find radius of incircle formed in right triangle

let a = 5 ,b = 12 , c = 13

r =( a + b - c)/2

r = (5+12 - 13)/2 = 4/2 = 2cm

second method

r =2×area of triangle/perimeter of triangle

r = 2× 1/2 *12*5/ 30

r = 60/30 = 2cm Answer

Answer:

Radius of inner circle =2

Step-by-step explanation:

In the triangle ABC

AB=5,AC=13

BC= √13^2-√5^2

=√144

=12

Here a=5, b=12,c=13

radius of inner circle=a+b-c/2

=5+12-13/2

=4/2=2cm
