ABC is an equilateral triangle. AD is perpendicular to BC and BE is perpendicular

to AC Then show that ABD  ACD.​

In ∆ ABC,

AD perpendicular BC , BE perpendicular AC,

Proof : In ∆ ADC and ∆ BEC

angle ADC = angle BCE (each 90°)

angle ACD =BCE (common )

and AC = BC (Sides of an equilateral triangle)

∆ ADC ~ ∆ BEC (A.A.S .Axiom)

Hence ,(i) AD = BE (c.p.c.t )

And (ii) BD = CE ( c.p.c.t)

hence proved .
