abc is an equilateral triangle with each side 10 cm and O is a point in the interior of the triangle if P Q R are mid points of AO BO and CO then find the perimeter of triangle PQR

triangle OPR is similar to triangle OAC by side angle side. And OP is half of OA and OR is half of OC. So PR is 5cm.
Similarly prove all triangles similar and you will get each side as 5cm and it will be equilateral.

karthik316: So P Q R are on the midpoints so, for example, AP and AO are divided equally. the angle O remains common for both the triangles. therefore they are similar by SAS. and their ratio is 1:2. Ratios in similar triangles remains constant. So the constant ratio of each side is 1:2. So AC is double of PR.
