ABC is an isoceles triangle with AB=AC and D is mid point on AC such that BC*BC = Ac * CD PROVE THAT BD=BC

Answer:

THEREFORE BC×BC=AC×CD

=> BC×BC=AB×CD

BC²=AB×CD

AB=CD-BC²

AB×CD=BC²

THEREFORE PUTTING ON (1) BC²=BC²

√AB×CD=BC

BC=√AB×CD

HENCE THAT IS NOT PROVED BD=BC
