=> any two sides must be equal

so let AB=BC

and also given that angle at B =90

=> ∆ ABC is also a right angle triangle

so we can right that,

AC^2= AB^2+BC^2

AC^2= AB^2+AB^2 (since AB=BC)

AC^2=2AB^2
