one angle is right angle so the remaining two must be 45°

and two sides are equal ( i.e . base & perpendicular) = a

so the hypotenuse would be a√2 by Pythagoras theorem.

in ∆ABC

Ang B = 90°

Ang A = Ang C = 45°

so Sin 2A = Sin 2× 45°

= Sin 90°

= 1
