ABC is an isosceles triangle . BO and CO are angle bisectors of ABC and angle ACB respectively. Find the measure of angle BOC.

angle ABO = angle OBC=x

and,

angle ACO = OCB = y

in ABC, by angle sum property we have,

2x+2y+angle A= 180

x+y+(angle A +2)=90

x+y = 90-(angle A/2)......(1)

In BOC, we have,

x+y+angle BOC = 180

90-(angle A+2)+angle BOC = 180 ..(from 1)

angle BOC = 180-90+(angle A+2)

angle BOC= 90+(angle A/2)
