Given Information:

ABC is an isosceles right triangle, right angled at C.

To Prove:

AB² = 2 AC²

Solution:

Since ∆ABC is a right angle,

Therefore,

AB² = AC² + BC² ❴Pythagoras Thermo❵

=> AB² = AC² + AC² [∴ BC = AC]

=> AB² = 2 AC²

Hence Proved :)
