to prove,
proof,
from eq (1)
angleC = 90°
so, by Pythagoras theorem
AB^2=BC^2+AC^2
Now from eq(2)
BC=AC
SO
AB^2=BC^2+BC^2
AB^2=2BC^2
hence proved
