ABC is an isosceles triangle with AB=AC and AD is perpendicular from A on BC. prove that AD is median of the triangle

AD will be median of the triangle because AD is drawn in the middle of the triangle as angle opposite to 2 equal sides are equal......And thus median drawn is a perpendicular given in the question so AD is a median ........
