Answer:

(i) AB=AC ( given)

angle ADB = angle ADC ( both angles are 90 degree)

angle B = angle C ( the angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are equal)

(ii) yes they are congruent

because :

AB = AC (given)

Angle ADB = angle ADC ( EACH 90 DEGREE)

angle B = angle c ( same reason from the 1st question)

(iii) yes they are equal

because angles opposite to equal sides

in a triangle are equal

(iv) yes they are equal

since Triangle ADB is congruent to Triangle ADC

by CPCT,

BD = DC

( CPCT = congruent parts of congruent triangles)

Answer:

i) 3 pairs of equal parts in triangles ABD and ADC are- a)angles,ADB=ADC=90°

b)AD=AD(common)

c)AB=AC(given)

ii)triangles ABD & ADC are congruent to each other by R-H-S criteria.

iii) angles B=C by C.P.C.T

iv)BD=CD by C.P.C.T
