AB=BC.........( Given)

 {ab}^{2}  = 2 {ac}^{2}  \\  {ab}^{2}  =  {ac}^{2}  +  {ac}^{2}  \\  {ab}^{2}  =  {bc}^{2}  +  {ac}^{2}  \\

Hence. It's a Pythagoras theorem

And we know Pythagoras theorem is apply only for right angled triangle

Therefore,

Triangle abc is right angled triangle

Now,

ab² = 2ac²

ab² = ac² + ac²

ab² = bc² + ac²

This is Pythagoras Theorem
