ABC is an isosceles tringle with AB is equal to AC draw AP perpendicular BC so that angle B is equal to angle C

Given :- AB = AC and AP perpendicular to BC.

Prove :- angle B = angle C.

Proof :- In triangle ABP and triangle ACP,

AB = AC (given)
AP = AP (Common)
BP = CP (P is perpendicular to BC)

By SSS Congruent Property,
triangle ABP congruent to triangle ACP.

By CPCT,
Angle B = Angle C

HENCE PROVED.
